ps3 showtime audio/video out of sync with Tvheadend liveTV server

Description
When playing channels from htsp protocol tvheadend liveTV server, there are large number of channels have issue with audio/video out of sync problem. It was originally believed this is caused by channels with multiple audio/subtitle channels. However there are appears to be a small number of channels works fine. In addition, not all single audio/video track channel works well either.
The tvheadend server was version 2.12, running on Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit.
The different client have been tested with same tvheadend server, which audio/video out of sync issue didn't occurs with all the channels tested on PS3 showtime. This test is performed on Windows 7, Chrome browser, liveTV window with VLC plugin.
