I would like a simple way to rename a playlist entry in Showtime. If the file is an MKV file, renaming it will apply this change to the MKV's title metadata, since Showtime parses and uses this to name MKV files. I would love this feature even if I must use a physical keyboard to do it on the PS3.

I keep running into many files with incorrect titles set into the MKV.

This can be very annoying in the playlist if the muxer was too lazy to give useful title names in the metadata, and there is no easy/simple way to edit this data.

VLC player doesn't seem to edit MKV title metadata, using mkvtoolnix is rather cumbersome for needing such a small change and I can't seem to find any simple MKV tag editor from a google search.
