Description

[Note: Sorry for submitting this again- I already did so a month ago but forgot to select an Assignee, and I don't see any option to edit/delete the old ticket.]

When using analog audio output on PS3, its base sound level is too high, which means the amplifier is overdriven and clipping occurs.
This is why the sound level can be regulated in PS3's built-in media player (=you can turn it down).

Unfortunately Showtime is lacking this at present; I'd say it's one of the most important features not yet added.

Otherwise, fantastic work, it's very much appreciated! Please keep it up.
