Whenever I play a 720P mkv it will automatically exit the movie at random times.
Had it with The Green Hornet/I Am Number Four/Source Code.
It simply closes the movie when playing (Mostly around 1 hour playback). Then when restarting the movie you have to try a few times because most of the time it says CPU too slow to decode the file.
After shutting down the PS3 it might work.

This is really a big issue. 3.55KMEAW. Phat PS3.

This is an issue with most 720p and 1080p MKVs only. I did not find issues with MP4 or other formatted videos.

Playback gets dirty sometimes, and then hangs.
Other times, it shows 'cpu too slow to decode'.

Solution to resolve would be to exit Showtime, and restart it. As long as I play a single MKV upon each start of showtime, there is no problem. But if i play multiple mkv's in sequence, then issue crops up.
