Description

Can you enable the DVD playback feature for Android?

I know it makes sense only for DVD in ISO/Folder but still it works fine.

I just tested it on my TV/MiBox/Lenovo and now with MPEG2 hardware acceleration it looks perfect.

Dean, you might need to have the https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.medialogic.usbmounter
To mount the actual disc. However, Movian does not have yet the "open with" that this software requires. It does play dvd's mounted via USB on other playback software already. You have to copy the subtitles separately for now. I hope Movian will support this too.

You probably misunderstood me. I compiled movían with DVD support and it works fine on Android. My request was to enable it in the official release.

If you can upstream the changes in a pull request to comply with GPL, Andreas can implement them.
