Description

Showtime always plays the default video track and gives no option to select another.

Sample video attached.

3d-2d.mk3d - Mkv Merge produced the file with this extension, as far as I can tell it is no different than a standard mkv. (53.2 MB) Bill Simpson, 08/18/2013 11:12 PM

ST plays that file as stereoscopic 3D video file as it should be. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matroska
That could be interesting feature allowing to see 3D on 2D TV.

There is actually 2 video tracks embedded in that sample, one is 3d and one is 2d.

I was hoping for an option added to the triangle menu that would allow me to choose whichever video track I wanted to use just like I can with audio and subtitles.

If Andreas Ă–man wants to make 3d video playable in 2d on a 2d monitor then that is fine, but that is not the feature I was requesting.
