Scraped cover art archived locally

I am a PS3 Movian user, so no idea if all other versions work in similar way. On PS3, each time you open your movies folder in Movian, it auto scrapes/downloads all movie art. It works perfectly fine but it takes like 1 min before all cover art is shown when the library becomes a bit substantial. Would it be possible to have Movian archiving scraped art on the local PS3 harddrive and only re-scrape new or missing cover art during the next scraping attempts? Will make the overall experience nicer I guess. Thanks
