YouTube plugin for old Android devices

Could it possible to implement a video quality changer for YouTube plugin?
Just I have old Galaxy TAB GT-P1000 with Android 6.0.1(Custom Firmware) and a have trouble with the CPU low performance for YouTube plugin :((
