Korean character must be

charset=euc-kr

charset=iso-2022-kr

charset=Johab

charset=x-mac-korean

charset=ks_c_5601-1987

can u support?

I suggest you to save your subtitle file as utf-8 without BOM format,may be it will be OK.
I do so to my Chinese subtitle file,and it is ok,so i think it will be ok to korean character set subtitle files.

for Asian characters, utf8 is your friend.
