Andreus, the dlna server is embedded in a Buffalo NAS storage box that i use to store and stream all my media, i think it's Mediabolic Dlna Server, but not sure.
Tom, i use the latest build from http://ps3emu.weebly.com/downloads.html cause i can't compile my self, not sure what version of PSL1ght to use!
Cheers.

i ve tried the latest revision. it is cool that is possible again to load external subtitles without the name of the srt be the same as the video, but in the subs menu it say "srt file" for all the subs in the folder...
so imagine there is a tv series folder with 20 video files and 20 subs, you have to guess which sub is right for every video...so something has to be done here...
one more thing, there is a bug that when you fast forward and then rewind a video the subs disappear...
anyways keeo up the good work...

thx for all your replies.
though the error for videos is now gone, it doesn't play any videofiles. the loading "cogwheel" seems to last forever.
pictures and music won't play as well.
just the same like andreus.
any ideas?

that seems more like a server side issue! what server are you running? can you play files with media player from ps3?

I've a qnap with twonkymedia installed and ps3 3.55 kmeawn....but also with the last version downloaded from http://ps3emu.weebly.com/downloads.html (that should have the fix 2caadbb6) there are problems:
1. Images: only some photo can be viewed into preview panel and any photo can to be "played" (remains a blank screen and need to close and reopen showtime if you want use it). In the log when I select the file and play it I see:
GLW [INFO]:Unable to load http://192.168.1.25:9000/disk/DLNA_PNJPEG_LRG-OP01/xxxxxxxx.jpg (I think is about preview doesn't loaded)
navigator [INFO]:Opening http://192.168.1.25:9000/disk/DLNA_PNJPEG_LRG-OP01/xxxxxxxx.jpg (this is the last line and a blank screen appears)
2.Music: I see the mp3 files but when I enqueue nothing happen and in the log I see:
notify [ERROR]:URL:http//192.168.1.25:9000/disk/DLNA-PNNMP3-OP01/xxxxxxx.mp3
Playqueue error: Unable to probe file: libav error -1
3. Video: When I play an video (AVI, MKV and so on) the load screen (the 3D ring...) continue to infinite. In the log there is't information.
Thx...

sorry no serverside problem. the ps3 xmb plays everything well. so does the iphone with plugplayer.
like my poster before mentioned. got exactly same thing with my twonkyserver on buffalo linkstation live NAS

what is the buffalo live that you have?
Mine is LS-CHL-v2, in the logs i see that showtime tries to load twonky.jpg (or something like this), perhaps for the icon image, if this is the case i have the same server as you!
If you have the same nas as i have we could try to figure this out, if not only andreas can give you guys a hand with those URL's!

Seems it's able to open the file at least (it create the codecs and initialize audio output) but then something bad happens.
I'm a bit lazy so I've not even tried to figure it out, but can this twonky media server be downloaded somewhere. Or is it only bundled with hardware?

RE: Latest Revisions

Added by Tom Mottom about 12 years ago
you should be able to access the webinterface of twonky , when you type in your ip of your linkstation and port 9050 or port 9000 usually.
i.g. mine is :
192.168.178.20:9050 or try :9000
about the logs. i can't check it right now. not near my ps3 :o

ok, the port on mine is 9050....9000 is for webaccess.
my version is Version 4.4.19_e2 , it's an old version as i can see!
how did you upgrade yours, telnet?
i see you can activate a log debugging feature on the server, did you tried that?
it seems you both are on the same version, can you downgrade?
