Difference between multiMan and "regular" Versions
Added by x y almost 11 years ago
Hi there. I recently encountered some strange behavior and wanted to see, if anyone has encountered something or even found a solution:
When playing a mkv via TVersity (MediaInfo below) vie multiMan, which currently uses version 3.5.043 of Showtime, the video plays perfectly fine. If I use the latest standalone version of Showtime 3.5.128, the movie stutters and does not play well at all. I use the same TVersity server, same network, ... for both.
Anyone any idea?
Cheers!
MediaInfo output of the file in question (though I doubt that's the issue...):

Does the same movie file stutter if you play it from the PS3's HDD instead of the media server?
This would help determine if it is streaming related, or an issue with the new version playing that type of file.

Tried the same movie again with 3.5.171-gf1b3001 (standalone) and did not experience any problems!
Cheers!
